Information on child safety seat installation and free inspection services. 
Graffiti Abatement
The HCSO’s Graffiti Abatement program is designed to remove unwanted graffiti markings.
M.A.P.
The Motorist Assistance Program is designed to assist stranded motorists. 713 CALL MAP.
Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.)
The Rape Aggression Defense System is a 5-day program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques.
Contract Deputy Program
To further enhance public safety in their communities, Harris County residents may request additional law enforcement services on a fee basis.

Homeless Outreach Team

Home security inspections for a possible 5% discount on your homeowner’s insurance premium.
Offender Watch
Offender watch is designed to help you search for registered sex offenders in your area and register for email notifications of registered sex offenders.
Procedures For 68-A Inspections
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Auto Theft Section ONLY conducts these inspections for Harris County residents. ALL inspections are conducted by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
